Classic Badges builds a new badge shelf, monthly sleep summary and classic dashboard after those features were removed when the Fitbit app became Google Health. It applies independent rules to available Android Health Connect records, with no account, no AI and no network permission.
In May 2026 the Fitbit app was replaced by Google Health. Google's own help pages confirmed that badges would no longer be supported, that Sleep Profile and the monthly sleep animals were gone, and that data for the removed features would be downloadable only until 15 July. For wearers with a decade of history, a trophy shelf built over years simply disappeared.
Available activity can still support a new milestone experience. Classic Badges reads the health records a wearer shares through Health Connect and applies its own rules locally. History depends on permissions and available records. An optional saved Takeout export can add activity and preserve any badge records it contains; the app cannot recover deleted original award history.
