Health data is processed on your phone. This app has no Internet permission. All features are free in this initial release. You can choose to export data or share diagnostics through other apps.

Classic Badges reads health and fitness data you choose to share through Android Health Connect and shows it as a dashboard, badges (activity milestones), sleep summaries and home-screen widgets. All processing happens on your device.
Only the types you approve in the Health Connect permission screen: steps, floors climbed, distance, elevation gained, total and active calories burned, exercise sessions, sleep sessions and stages, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, VO2 max, weight, nutrition (energy).
We use each type only to display it, chart it, and compute badges and the monthly sleep summary. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to anyone, and we do not use it to make decisions about employment, insurance or credit.
If you import a Google Takeout export, the app reads available activity and supported saved badge records on your device. Calculated milestones use our own rules and may differ from your original Fitbit awards; missing or deleted records cannot be recovered. The files are read locally and are not uploaded.
Health data is stored in the app’s private storage, protected by Android’s device security. App data is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. The initial release does not connect to Google Play Billing or offer purchases.
Daily summaries and badges remain until you delete app data or uninstall. Detailed sleep stages are kept for 400 days. Operational import and notification logs are pruned after 90 days, with import coverage retained for correct badge totals. More → Delete all app data removes local records, preferences, import checkpoints, and cached exports. It does not delete Health Connect records. You can revoke access in Health Connect and export your stored health records as JSON and CSV in a ZIP from More → Export my data.
The app is not directed to children under 16.
We hold no server copy of your health records. You can access, export and delete local records in the app. If you choose to send an export or diagnostic file through another app, that recipient receives the file you selected. For privacy questions, contact privacy@classicbadges.app.
Classic Badges' use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Google Play Health Connect Permissions Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Classic Badges is for general wellness and entertainment. The sleep animal and any scores are informational approximations and are not a medical assessment.
We will post changes here and in the app with a new effective date. Friends features, if added in a future version, will require a separate, explicit consent and will be described in an updated policy before they are enabled.
